This study was carried out to apply SBR process on the dyeing waste-water treatment with carbohydrate addition.
The results were summerized as follows :
¢ç The COD ieuioval efficiency of dyeing wastewater added carbohydrate at Omg/l, 250mg/1 and 500mg/t was 53%, 85% and 92%, respectively.
¢ç The TKN removal efficiency of dyeing wastewater added carbohydrate at Omg/l, 250mg/1 and 500mg/l was 43%, 57% and 87%, respectively.
¢ç In dyeing waste-water added none of carbohydrates, the sludge volume was significantly decreased and activity was low, but in dyeing waste-water added carbohydrate, the sludge volume was stable and activity was high.
Fragilaria sp. and Compsopogen sp. were frequently observed in dyeing waste-water added none of carbohydrate and Epistylis sp., Vorticella sp., Leine and Rotifer were frequently observed in dyeing waste-water added carbohydrate.
